And why Mr. Towns, after 27 long and uneventful years in office, needs to step aside gracefully. I tackle issues like jobs, education, and violence, while Mr. Towns muses about “student athletes.” We both are Democrats, the Democratic primary is Tuesday, September 14, but I know it is time for fresh leadership based on Mr. Towns’ comments alone.
