Damon Weaver Interviews President Obama - God Bless America

I was much inspired by Mr. Weaver's interview with President Obama. Unfortunately, joy has a short life. Now, we smolder with anger that the International Association of Athletics Federatins makes the unprincipled claim that Ms. Caster Semenya (South Africa) is too masculine to compete in women's sports. Such vulgarity undermines belief in global post-race anything; it is a painful reminder of the indignity visited upon the person of Saartjie Baartman in the 19th century and non-black inspections of the bodies of African women through the whole period of enslavement. I do hope people in the African Diaspora will call upon the I.A.A.F. to be more responsible.
